(October 30, 2018, 9:51 am)Matthew (Mádmantra) is the producer I use when I need a professional vocal recording. He is super sweet, patient, and really talented. If you are feeling stuck, he seems to always know...sometimes before you do. Like...for real lol. from the moment I arrived and was greeted, I felt completely at ease...happy, calm, free. & I always leave with the same feeling + a sense of accomplishment...xoxo Yasminnn
(October 21, 2018, 11:51 am)I can accomplish a lot in my home studio, but this place is on a whole other level. They've got the best gear in the game (Neve, SSL, Pro Tools HD, etc). I took home some SERIOUSLY badass sounding drum tracks. What really blew me away though was that I've literally NEVER heard my voice sound as good as this. Ever. I would put up this place right up there with the studios in LA I have worked in. Amazing sounding rooms...overall just a killer place with a killer vibe.
I did a full day session, about 9 hours, with Matthew. He went the extra mile to figure out what I was going for, and he really delivered. Family run business from what I understand. It's on a large plot of land (I think Dave, the co-owner, said 150 acres) with lots of cattle, and some horses.
I've worked out of a few of the studios in Houston since moving here, including SugarHill. This is the place for me. Affordable, and beats anything around as far as I'm concerned, hands down. My go to spot to track in HTX! 'nuff said...Thanks again Matt!
(February 18, 2016, 4:13 pm)A+ experience! The layout of this facility is immaculate, it has a full kitchen, bathroom, and even a place for guests to enjoy games and TV while they wait. The recording area is spacious and has lots of advanced technology. Matt, the engineer that works there took great care and precision to detail and made sure that all of our wishes were met. I have recommended them to all of my colleagues and look forward to returning there for future projects.
(February 18, 2016, 3:55 pm)Amazing and comfortable atmosphere! Perfect mix of laid back and professional. My band has recorded two songs with Longhorn Sound so far and they did not disappoint! Matt does a great job of catering to your specific needs while also having great ideas and input. His experience is evident and he genuinely cares about making the end product exactly what you want and will do whatever it takes to make that happen. Also everyone there is super friendly and I would highly suggest them to anyone looking for top notch quality at a fair price!!
