“Ryan at angel oaks made the whole experience just a little less painful! I lost my sweet girl on a Tuesday morning due to a fatal dog attack! I didn't know what to do with her lifeless body and I was hysterical . Most places said they would "UPS" her back to me in 3 days?! Or to freeze her till they came . Ryan took her in immediately and had her ready in a beautiful complimentary wooden box the next day. She had her paw print and a death certificate with her. Jessica, the owner, is top notch in all categories when it comes to dealing with all things needed to make this process as painless as possible, There are a lot of things that happen in such a short period of time after ones passing, and Ridgemont Mortuary made this transition very easy, straight forward and took care of most everything. Not only that, they did so with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff, guiding you and you family through it all. They are complete professionals and are with you from start to finish, even afterwards to make sure everything was to your liking. They are available 24 hours a day to take care of every need you and your family have and or will have. Their guidance along this process is second to none and I would absolutely recommend Ridgemont over all the "marquee" names in the industry. They offer many different options including my favorite, the keepsakes items you can choose from, via the catalog they provide to you in case you want to keep that special person with you forever. Ridgemont did it right, actually they did everything perfect with no detail left out. “I recently had the unpleasant experience of making the Final arrangements for a Love one and having dealt with other Funeral Homes in the past my expectations were low. Being in close proximity I randomly choose Lockwood Funeral Home and I am so glad I did. Let me first start off by saying that originally Ms. Geraldine assisted us through the process and got us set up with all the arrangements, costs and such. Upon finalization of everything Mr. Jones the Funeral Director, sat down with us listened to our concerns regarding our Family drama and suggested and adjusted things accordingly as to avoid chaos on the day of the Services. Upon arrival at the Services Mr. Jones had everything from parking to our arrival organized and seamless. Our Loved one looked as they had when they were living, and there was no chaos what so ever. I had never experienced nor seen a Black Funeral so well organized and go off without a hitch. Mr. Jones indeed delivered everything he promised and I am throughly impressed with his professionalism, empathy and service to the family.
