Joao Crus Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Great experiences here. We signed my son up and he loves it. It's his favorite activity so far. He's 6 and has done baseball, soccer, some gymnastics, etc. He did ok with those, but you could tell he was never super excited to go. That's not the case here. He loves going and gets upset if we have to miss a day. I love that they're teaching them how to be good humans as well as Jiu Jitsu. They are teaching things like listening and making eye contact, sportsmanship, hand shakes, cleanliness, etc. Highly recommend.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the positive change in drive and attitude I see in my two sons since we joined Joao’ program. He knows how to connect with kids on a higher level and his passion for his art is unmistaken thru his teachings.

Learn Brazilian jujitsu in a spacious environment, taught by an experienced instructor (and protégé of Carlos Gracie). Joao runs a tight ship with class sizes that are comparable to semi private lessons for the price of ‘general admission’. No filler or fluff. 100% legit Brazilian jujitsu. I’ve been attending Joao’s classes since 2018 and my son has been taking the kids classes the same amount of time and it’s the best thing that we’ve ever done. It’s challenging and very rewarding. You’ll notice a change in how you feel and look from day one. All you have to do is show up.

Been enjoying my time at Joao Crus Jiu-Jitsu. From the first time walking in the door I felt comfortable. I have learned a lot in the last two months. Great instruction for the visual and kinesthetic learner. The all women class is awesome and enriching . Last night I went to the coed class and experienced a great workout with another wonderful instructor. As I age I want to utilize my brain and Jiu-Jitsu is perfect with my goals of being active and learning self defense and so much more. Thank you Joao Crus.
