I contacted Good News Roofing at the recommendation of a neighbor who had their roof replaced by them.

After putting in a request for a roof inspection, I was promptly contacted by Scott who scheduled a home visit for a free inspection. When Scott arrived, he was very professional in introducing himself and made it easy to understand the purpose of his initial visit. After assessing our roof, we were promptly sent a quote explaining everything that would be done and also informing us that no payment was due until after service was complete!

We eventually accepted the contract and waited for work to begin. During this time, Scott kept us updated on the status of the shingles and when our color was ready and in stock, we were scheduled for the roof replacement.

The crew who showed up were very polite and professional. They arrived early and began working right away and made sure that I knew where debris would be so that my family could be safe entering and leaving the house.

A short while later, we were told that there were significantly more problems with the roof than initially anticipated. Unfortunately, during the inspection, it’s hard to see what problems will be under the shingles, and as it turns out, previous homeowners had covered up an improper flashing job around our chimney, leading to significant wood rot. Scott reassured me that we would only have to pay for additional materials and labor to get the job done right and worked to keep the price increase as low as possible. The crew foreman did an incredible job of explaining what he had to do to make it right, and also explained that it could’ve easily been covered up in the name of making a profit, but would’ve left us with problems down the road and neither his crew nor Good News Roofing operate like that.

What was initially supposed to be a relatively simple roof job turned into a long day of work and they had to make many trips for extra supplies to get it done right. I never once heard anyone complaining, in fact, they were apologetic to us for the job taking longer than anticipated.

In the end, we were left with a beautiful roof which has been properly repaired and I can sleep easy at night knowing the roof over my family’s head is secure.

He followed up with a detailed, sixteen (16) point proposal. He committed to quality materials, workmanship, and a 3-year warranty.

I find everyone at this company to be honest, friendly and producing good quality of work. My original insurance appraisal for the damage to my roof came in at $600 worth of damage. Good News Roofing said no…it needs a totally new roof. Without an independent appraiser involved and challenged all states decision. I got a whole new roof thanks to this company, covered by my insurance except for the deductible. I can’t say enough good things about this company.

Brook met our insurance adjuster after doing her own assessment of our house, shed, and backyard items. Asked me about things that I wouldn't have thought to ask our adjuster. Which helped us so much in getting everything covered. She also went over all of our options and always did everything with a smile. She is a person of integrity and truly cares for her customers. My Mom and myself were so impressed with Brooke! She was so helpful through the entire process. Her communication was impeccable! Good News Roofing is blessed to have her on their team. She managed the project of roof replacement for my Mom's home from start to finish. Brooke took the time to meet with my Mom, myself, my sister, brother in law, and nephew on a Saturday morning to go over the project, pick out shingles, drip edge, and a new gutter.
