Through many years of performing, teaching, and choral directing, a handful of musicians became cherished collaborators. Marc is one of those. He and I led the music program at the San Marcos Unitarian Universalist Fellowship from 2016 until 2020, and it was a shared joy to build on each other’s ideas and to learn from each other. Marc is one of the most versatile and multi-talented musicians I’ve known, but more than that, he is just plain fun! Although classically trained, he is conversant with many genres of music and an accomplished performer. He is always smiling, always upbeat, and a born teacher for both children and adults. I can’t wait to make music with him again.

Marc Haygood is an excellent piano teacher. He taught my daughter starting from the basics. Soon my home was filled with beautiful piano music everyday! He's patient, professional, and an outstanding teacher and pianist. I can't recommend him more.
