“I am a first timer here at CTMC Rehab. I have been receiving care since May 2018 for an injury to my right thumb. I have nothing but great things to say about the whole process. From the moment you walk in the front door until the time you leave these people truly care. I am greeted with a smile and a hello. The front office staff acknowledges me by my last name every time I'm there. I don't feel like just another number to them. The Occupational Therapist I have been working with cares about my progress. Before I had surgery she listened to everything I had to say. She always took into consideration my pain level and making sure I wasn't doing any further damage. My doctor was always informed of everything that went on during my sessions. Like I said, I cant say enough good things about this place. I definitely recommend anyone needing Physical or Occupational Therapy to give CTMC Rehab Institute a try. “Words do not come easy when the heart is so full of gratitude. I've been a patient of Dr. Claudia Kotin for a while now. Since starting with her, I feel that my life has changed dramatically. She listens and comprehends all while teaching you how to treat yourself. She works at your pace and is so kind. Her work with veterans and the veteran community is insurmountable. Their office personnel are few, and it may take time to get an appt, but keep trying. They are the best! They offer EMDR, Neurofeedback, and a hyperbaric chamber. The office is located on their property, which has deer and other wildlife roaming freely. It's a lil piece of serenity back there.”

“I met Pastor Don, in person, two years ago when he was passing through town and stopped to visit. A year later, he came to pray and be with me when my daughter passed away. Prior to that, I knew his twin brother Ron (USMC MIA Vietnam) when we were at Texas A&M together in the late 60s. It has been a pleasure to read his daily Facebook Ministry blog and to view his Sunday worship services on YouTube. That’s saying a lot from this “has been” Catholic. Consequently (one of Pastor Don’s favorite words), I asked him to speak at my daughter’s Memorial Service. He had never met Tamara but his words were soothing, comforting, and uplifting. If you are in need, or not, of a family church and personalized prayer I highly recommend Pastor Don at Henly Baptist Church, in Henly. I hope to be sitting in a pew there one day and surprise the heck out of him. 🤗🙏🏻🤗”

“San Marcos is lucky to have a nice trail system, beautifully maintained by the San Marcos Greenbelt Alliance. Trails can be hiked out & back, or make a loop. Point to point is a nice option too. Check out the SMGA website for trail maps. Plenty of parking at both Upper and Lower Purgatory trailheads, although on beautiful days parking can fill up. Pit toilets at both trailheads.”
