“This is my favorite local gas station/ convenience store. The employees are super friendly and always greeting new faces. What I love the most is that the manager and assistant manager have been there for years and care about their customers, even the newbies are friendly! The managers take the time to get to know "the usuals," like me and my father, who come in often. It's that kind of place you see in TV shows where the friendly local store staff greets people by name, and that store you've always wished you had in your area- that's THIS store for me!! I can go in and it is crazy as all get out and someone will always be saying hi to people as they come in. One day during a particularly busy time, and on the rare occasion a gal was working alone (Maria) because someone called out sick, & the line was backed up about 10 people deep! Maria didn't panic or get frustrated she went above and beyond to pace back & forth between BOTH registers to try & check people out faster!! If THAT isn't customer service I don't know what is!! It has had it's ups and downs over the years losing employees & unknowingly hiring some bad eggs but if you had a bad experience there- you should give them another shot. There are really great people working there!! Plus their drink selection and refills (even the very largest size is only $.86 WITH tax for I think 64oz!) Please "like" this review if you agree or just find it helpful in anyway. I want to spread the word that they deserve more than 1 star from 1 person. They're a wonderful local gas station for anyone to stop at!”

“One of the cleanest and best organized Dollar Generals I’ve ever been in. They regularly get new home decor arrivals and keep their displays up to date. This store opened during the snow in 2021 and took cash for non-perishable food items. That alone makes this store 5 stars for me. Many of us were stuck out here with ice on all roads leading in and out. Being able to get enough food and water to get by was critical.”

Their windshield cleaning station is nice and new, the squeegees are in great shape and don't scratch your window like the other gas stations on Linda.”

“This particular location is pretty awesome. Everybody is super friendly there and they actually remember everybody’s names which is really crazy. LOL! They also are very good at de-escalating customers who get angry. I’ve seen a few homeless patients and they were some kind of issue, and they were able to talk them down, and finally leave with a smile instead of being angry and leaving angry. Anna is amazing. She helps keep all your meds in check. She’s the main pharmacist and make sure for people like me that certain generics are given. I have a very sensitive system and I take more than 20 medication’s. They have a list of the ones I can and cannot take as far as generic drug goes there on top of it. The only thing with them I’ve experienced that’s negative and it’s happened a few times where I went to pick up medication and they forgot to give me one of them so I would have to go back the next day. But other than that these are great people.”

“I did not have high expectations for an outdoor bathroom. I have two small kids and was not looking forward to it. However, I was pleasantly surprised when we went into the restrooms. There was toilet paper, the floors were clean, and I felt like it was very well maintained. When we went inside I also was very pleased by the kind older gentleman behind the counter. We bought a frozen drink to share between my two kids. He let me get an extra cup that we could split it in. When I was having difficulty getting it in the other cup he told me to go fill it a little bit with the drink. He was very kind and made a quick trip very pleasant. Definitely would be back! Thank you for your kindness!!”

“Ive come to this store numerous of times theres 1 person that seems to stick out every time. I believe her name is Jessica. Always nice fast and friendly. Ive come to the store a few times she had a line wrapped around and knocked it out by herself with the manager on duty no were around. I came into the store last week she had a long line. She was calling for the girl on the floor and she never came. I happened to look down the isle and the worker was on the floor folding towels and bath carpets instead of helping the girl in front. Everytime i come into store Jessica is always friendly helpful and fast. Shes always cleaning sweeping and wiping down something.”

“I like having the convenience of this store close to me. And the staff have been nice. I needed a certain cup from here to get the same for my other grandson. They didn’t have anymore in stock. I went to 4 other Dollar General stores in the area and surrounding towns. The one on Hwy 123 was the cleanest most organized store of all of them. I’m glad it’s the closest one to me.”
