Extremely surprised by the High Quality of their BBQ!
Their roadside location is ideal if you are traveling in between the RGV and San Antonio.
If you are a Truck Driver, don't worry about parking. They have a fairly large lot that allows you to pull in with your truck and get out safely.
The Brisket was delicious 😋
Stopped by today on our way back to the valley. Great atmosphere, ample room. Jalapeño sausage was awesome. The potato salad was very good. My wife enjoyed the loaded brisket potato.
Amazing Texas BBQ. I got the two meat plate with ribs and brisket . Fall off the bone ribs and amazingly tender brisket. The smoky flavor on them both was awesome . Must eat place if you are here.
Cute restaurant out in nowhere, really. Ordered the slice brisket sandwich with onion rings and my husband ordered the catfish basket with red veans and seasoned fries. Sandwich is on homemade sourdough bread, made locally. Met the owner. Great guy. He makes a special tarter sauce, secret ingredient that was awesome 👌 He explained the process for the catfish he buys that gives it a clean great taste. We ate outside but they have an air-conditioned room also. Really good BBQ, sauce was good and the bread was to die for . Great choice if you eat here
I like the concept of the place. However the chow as a different story. Brisket was good however it seemed reheated and dry. The cheese sausage is commercial and is bland and the pork ribs were gamey. The bbq sauce is the bomb which made everything taste better.
