My first child was born in a hospital with epidural, which was an okay experience but my recovery was terrible!
I decided to take a different route when I found out I was pregnant with my second child.
From the beginning Mollie was super supportive and comforting. I was really nervous about having an unmedicated birth, which I expressed to her over and over. She answered all of my questions and put my mind at ease.
When my son was born she was there to hold my hand, reassure me that I could do it, and even helped me postpartum with getting used to taking care of a baby again and in dealing with postpartum depression.
I highly recommend her and will go back to her again if I happen to have another child.

Mollie is an adept and adaptive midwife. She assisted in (or was backup for) 3 of my births and lead midwife for another 2. You may hear her or others recount the tale of the water birth in a tent in a backyard during a thunderstorm resulting in a 12 + pound baby( I grow them big). Well, that was me. It was the most perfect of the 11 birth experiences I have had, as it went according to plan every step of the way. What Mollie may not tell you is that during that birth, she found out her grandmother had died. Not once did she mention it or let on that something was amiss. Her energy never wavered, and she was professional, giving me the space and energy I needed to bring my child int this world.

My next pregnancy and birth did not end as well, at 36.4 weeks i lost my perfectly progressing baby in utero, becoming Mollie's first and only infant mortality to my knowledge (as of 9/15/2017). Once again she rose to the occasion as we both faced something neither of us had ever dealt with before. She provided transportation so that my husband could hold me, she was supportive and made some hard phone calls for me during this tragic and heartbreaking time.

Mollie is a skilled midwife who can roll with the punches with grace and compassion during your pregnancy, no matter where your experience ends up falling on the spectrum of overwhelming joy to extreme tragedy. As long as she is your mid wife, she will take care of you and encourage you to follow YOUR OWN instincts. I know from personal experience.

Mollie has walked with our family through three births and three miscarriages. She has extensive knowledge and skills, which contribute to her trustworthiness and calming presence. She firmly believes in informed consent and is always willing to answer questions. We consider her to be one of the most valuable people in our lives and look forward to utilizing her services many more times in the future!

Mollie took beautiful care of my little ones and me. She knows birth inside and out and that was exactly what I needed for my first 24 hr very uneventful birth and then we really needed it when my last little one came quickly and also really needed Mollie's expertise to get started. I am so grateful for her care! She is also a certified massage therapist and is just the right amount of hands on during labor and birth. And she sutures and draws blood amazingly!! :)

I was thrilled with my experience with Mollie. I interviewed a couple midwives before deciding on Mollie as my care provider during my first pregnancy. She was warm, caring, accessible, reliable and very professional. I strongly recommend her to anyone wishing to have a pregnancy and birth centered around health and well-being. I am currently expecting my second baby and I could not imagine embarking on this journey again with anyone other than Mollie. We are so blessed to have such an outstanding caretaker in our community.
