Visited the Break Room Brewery after seeing their ad in our program at a Plaza Theater performance. Our experience was awesome. We were quickly met at the door and seated. Our waitress, Autumn, was terrific attentive without being intrusive. Our meals, street tacos and pork chops, were delicious. One of the managers, Jeremy, stopped by our table for a short friendly chat. First time in but absolutely won't be our last.
This is one of my favorite go to spots in cleburne for quality food. They usually have a special that’s off the menu and wow… I had to share this one on my review. Tonight they had schnitzel. It was so good. Light crispy outside and juicy inside. I also recommend their steaks! They’re always seasoned well and tender! The prices I think are also super reasonable for the portions they give!
Saw a review of this place on the FW Foodie page so we decided to try it today. We were greeted as we walked in. Our waitress was awesome. She was even patient with our youngest as he was a little cranky due to the long drive 😂. The food was wonderful! We tried the queso- fantastic! The meatloaf and pork chops were also fantastic! The drinks were excellent! The back porch was nice. We walked out to the little pond and saw a bright green frog and a water snake. That was near for the kids. Thank you for a nice Saturday outing with wonderful food.
Well, I have some pluses and minuses. Like some of the reviews say, the service is lacking. The bartender wasn't the friendliest. I had her put more ice in my bucket of beer. I had to go to the bar myself, and was non-responsive after I said thank you. I thought that was kind of rude. Also, after I checked out, the cashier overcharged me so be sure to be mindful of your order.
Otherwise, the place is awesome. I love the layout. It's super nice, especially the outside area. We love sitting outside on the patio area. And if you order a bucket of beer, you get 12 wings free. We ordered the bucket, got the wings, ordered mozzarella sticks, and ordered fries. It was a full meal for about $33 bucks... not bad. Overall, I would recommend you come out to visit.
The fried catfish was terrific. Large pieces of catfish, lots of fries, and jalapeno hush puppies (not spicy, just a little kick). Great house made tarter sauce. Wife had the hatch green chili cheeseburger with fried pickles (which are also really really good). Great service too!
