“I first began learning Taekwondo in 1987 and I earned my black belt in 1995. I've been training at Pinaroc Taekwondo for about 5 years and my two boys have been training for just over a year now. Over the years I've trained at several different schools with some very talented athletes and instructors, but my experience at Pinaroc TKD has been next level. Master Pinaroc is a brilliant tactician, excellent coach/instructor and has become a great friend. I cannot say enough good things about him or the program he has developed. In a three year run competing at the National Taekwondo Championships, under his guidance, I was able to earn two silver medals and a national championship. Both my boys truly love the kids program as well. All of the instructors do a great job of connecting with the students on an individual level, helping them to progress at a pace that best fits their needs and abilities. To be honest, I was scared of delivering at another hospital because of previous experiences. However, it was truly a redemptive birth. The nurses are like Fairy God Mothers who compassionately care for you. I even had a nurse clean my room because she knew the birth photographer was coming! The midwives are like angels. They empowered me during the entire process and made sure my baby and myself stayed safe. I am forever grateful for their care! “I took advantage of their free 30 day trial, came to three classes, and was hooked and signed up! I have had nothing but great experiences at each class - personable coaches, great instruction, a culture of camaraderie, clean and neat space. Also more affordable compared to other gyms in the area. The 6am classes work best for my schedule and I try to take time to go to one evening class a week, but I love that there's so many classes in the week that are available. Highly recommend Stoic BJJ for anyone interested in jiu jitsu or looking for a great workout! Come join us!”
