“I spent a year at Burning Tree Ranch. Like many have said I would never suggest someone go through the experience unless they are dying of addiction, the truth is though that I was. I was hopeless ..or it felt that way. Burning Tree helped me to understand many things, one being that there is a different way of life than the one I had become accustomed to. I was told if I am willing to take the steps necessary and put in the work to save my own life that my life would change, they promised that. My experience there was hard, painful, and at times downright miserable. I was not a perfect client, I fought most of the way until the very end, but the staff at The Ranch always kept up their end of the bargain and didn’t allow me to recede inward and become self-absorbed. Today my life is different. Burning Tree provided me with the love, time, and space to connect to god. Im very grateful.”

“I was a part of the Oaks Servant Leadership Program for several years when I was a kid, and now I've served on summer staff for 5 years. This place is by far the most amazing thing I've ever been a part of. I like to tell people that I have three families: immediate family, church family, and Hidden Acres family. The community here within the staff is so welcoming and tight knit. Hidden Acres is the perfect place to send your kiddos to a camp where they will experience Christ while having fun along the way, your teens and even young adults to serve and grow in their faith as they help their campers to do the same, or to rent out the facilities for retreats, D-Nows, weekend getaways etc... while experiencing God's beautiful creation. I was miserable for a week prior to visiting Dr. Glick, two days after my appointment with him, I am doing so much better and on my way to a fast recovery.
