Great food amazing atmosphere and great customer service. Can’t wait to come back at night and enjoy the patio and live music. Pad Thai was amazing!
This is the best Thai food I’ve had and I’ve tried a bunch of different places. Pork spring rolls, veggie spring rolls, and shrimp fried rice were all perfect. Very friendly waiter also. Y’all need to stop here!
Edit 4/16/22 We came back for some more delicious Thai food! We saw they had a sign that read “WINGS, WINGS, WINGS”. This time we had the chicken satay and wings. The wings were so big and juicy. They were garnished with chives and just perfect. The sauce was spicy but a little sweet. Not too sweet, it was subtle in my opinion. They need a picture of their wings on that sign out by the road! We have made this a regular place to visit when we come from Houston. It’s our favorite Thai place.
If you have kids, they have a kids play room full of toys. The room and toys are clean. It’s a great idea so that the kids don’t get bored while you wait for the food. The food comes out in a fair amount of time and it has always been fresh. We will continue to visit, this place is unmatched. (We’re from Houston and it’s unmatched)
Edit to add: On our most recent visit we tried the wings and they were crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. They were so flavorful. We also tried the veggie egg rolls and they were delicious along with the dipping sauce. It was sweet but with a hint of spice. I would rate it a 1 out of 5 on a scale of spiciness.
This remains our favorite Thai place in the San Antonio area.
What a wonderful Thai restaurant in Boerne with a serene ambience on their gorgeous patio. The food is delicious and delectably spiced just right. I wasn’t sure what to order so I ask them for suggestions of their more favorites requested. I had their delicious Pad Thai with beef and pork spring rolls. There weren’t any low carb options that I could tell but everything we had was delicious. We sat in their beautiful & serene patio surrounded by towering oak trees. It’s a casual restaurant where you order at the counter and sit inside or enjoy their beautiful patio. Highly recommend sitting on the patio depending on the weather.
My husband had a Thai tea served with an exquisite orchid so the presentation was very nice. However it was extremely sweet and not the typical cream base that he had gotten from another Thai restaurant.
Overall would highly recommend trying this wonderful Thai restaurant nestled among huge oak trees.
Boerne doesn't have much in the way of non-Western cuisine, if you're reading reviews looking for something different in Boerne, put down your phone and go to N's Thai Food. If you're an adventurous person you truly will not regret it.
We were planning a wedding weekend that heavily featured barbecue and other western foods. We contacted N's Thai Food to help us hold a Wedding Rehearsal Dinner event so that we could eat something that's not just more run-of-the-mill American food after rehearsing. N's Thai helped us pull off an event for ~20 people and they truly went above and beyond all of our expectations by every possible measure.
The food-- I have eaten here almost a dozen times now and I have developed some favorites--> The Drunken Noodles (Phad Kee Mao) and Thai Fried Rice are some of my favorite entrees, both with tofu despite being a meat eater. In fact, one thing I notice about N's is that they KNOW how to use their fryer and everything is always crispy. This brings me to the other must-try dish --> The fried chicken wing appetizer. This is Nui's custom recipe and it may very well be the best chicken wings I have ever eaten in my life. Both the drunken noodles and chicken wings are listed as spicy, but the spice level is fairly mild compared to their curry dishes. The Thai Tea is also really tasty and I prefer it over the Matcha, it's usually a bit sweet so I mix it with some water when I drink it. They are always served with hibiscus flowers which is a really cute touch. It's small details like this and the plating of the food that first clued us into the possibility of N's being the location for our event.
While planning our event, the owners, Ian and Nui, were perfect in their communication and planning and they showed incredible passion toward making the event special-- they even went out of their way to purchase items which would give the event a special touch. What I learned of N's Thai Food from this experience is not only that they are a top-notch establishment that provides delicious and beautifully plated food efficiently and affordably, but that the business itself is run by a family that has poured every ounce of their heart, soul, and resources into it. After all of this, I feel I have made friends in Ian and Nui, and we are truly blessed that Nui, who grew up in the Khorat region of Thailand, is now here and working hard every day to provide unique and delicious food that you really cannot find anywhere else, let alone in Boerne/SA region.
Even if we did not have our rehearsal dinner event here I would hold this place in high regard. It's easily the best Thai food I have had in Texas and I am so excited to see this place continue to grow. The only thing I wish this place did have is Papaya Salad (Som Tam), but I will still go out of my way to have this because there are so many other amazing dishes.
