Great Christmas town off of Hwy 46 outside of Boerne. Leisurely stroll among the buildings enjoying the lights and music. All the Christmas traditions for children and families to enjoy. Live music, some shopping, and even adult beverages are offered. This was our first year attending. We enjoyed ourselves so much we will definitely be returning.
I’m not sure how there is even one negative review. We were blown away by our experience last night. Everything was magical, all of the employees were so nice and accommodating. They offered to take family pictures everywhere we went. It was so well organized and thought through. My son had the best night ever and we loved every second we were there. The food and drinks were so reasonably priced. The lights were beautiful. We are definitely going to make this a yearly tradition for our family.
Fun was had by the entire family, ranging in ages from 5-75. The lights are amazing and the activities for kids are there. Santa has a great reprepertoire of lines that make the children believe he knows them. The selection of food venders is adequate, just don't go HUNGRY or you'll go broke. The selection of "arts and crafts" vendors was definitely lacking compared to last year. The only negative thing is the lack of accommodations for the handicap. If we hadn't had a young strong man in our group, our grandfather, who is in a wheelchair would have never got to enjoy it. The restrooms and buildings don't have ramps. 😥
Lights were nice, and I love that they had a number of vendors to get a drink or food. Would probably have given 5 stars...but after seeing the Santa's Ranch...they have some work to do to get to their level. Still, well worth it.
We went last night for opening night and had a great time. I will say it’s a bit over priced for what you are actually getting; however, I could tell there was a lot of thought and intentionality to make it a nice and festive experience. All of the staff we interacted with from parking attendants to those serving food were so nice. There were fun touches as writing a letter to Santa. Santa is also there and you are able to take your own photos which is a plus. Lots of photo ops, music everywhere, a light tunnel and a little light maze. You can also check out the various buildings. You can pay extra for hot chocolate and s’mores which was great on a cold night. Also, they have some other things such as mechanical bull and laser tag. There is plenty of room to spread out and walk around. It didn’t feel crowded. This was a great way to start the season for us. We had a great time.
