“I stopped at the Feirme cottage on my way down from Colorado over to Florida. It was such a sweet little spot; so cozy instantly upon walking in. It has all the amenities and space you need to stretch your legs out and relax! The farm fresh eggs and homemade bread were added bonuses, as were the deer that graze freely outside. The property is so peaceful and Jen and Annie are super hosts who made my stay very welcome!”

“What a sweet little shop. Absolutely beautiful dairy products, spices, and meats. Bought the glass milk jug just to have a keepsake from our trip here. I absolutely love displaying it in my kitchen and being reminded of our mini getaway. I highly recommend taking an hour out of your week to come check this place out. It’s a very unique, well organized market with a lot of cool grocery items and a staff that makes you feel like family. We were greeted warmly by the gentlemen sitting outside on the porch, as well as every worker in the place once we entered. If you’re thinking of driving in and checking this place out, just do it!”

“This theater is a great little gem, not too many people, you pay at the kiosk, put your own "butter" on your popcorn and the theater had a great section all the way up with just 2 seats in the section which was great for my husband and I to sit alone. They just need to spend a bit more time cleaning the restrooms, so they lost a star for that.”

“Lisa did a fantastic job! My girlfriend really wanted her nails done and I’m not exactly the most well versed in nails but I wanted to surprise her anyways! I Called Polishes and Lisa picked up right away, she then helped me through the process and all my options and pointed me in the right direction. When my girlfriend went she was absolutely stoked aboht the whole experience! She said everyone in the salon was super professional and incredibly nice! For actual nails they turned out fantastic and were beautifully done! We’ll certainly be coming back!”

“These folks at Cow Creek are the BEST. Quality work on taxidermy, traditional old school customer service and just the nicest people you ever want to meet, I harvested my first large axis buck in 3 Nov 2017, dropped it off at Cow Creek a couple days later to get a shoulder mount with left turn. Was told 6-8 months so I expected Aug 2018. However I just picked it up yesterday (21 April) and I could not be happier! The owner offered to carry it out for me, talked to me about taxidermy for a while and we even had a friendly conversation about changing times...like we were old friends! I've used them for this mount, a euro mount and to process a hog......every time great service. Only regret now is that I have it safely in an ugly room I am renovating and need to keep it from my dogs (see attached pics)!! You won't be disappointed by their work!!”

“I visited Joshua Creek Ranch for my first time for a sporting clays tournament that was part of a school fundraiser. My friends and I had a wonderful time. The property is beautiful. Mind you, I can't speak for pricing since I was the guest of a friend, but the staff seemed professional and customer-service oriented. As a Texas license to carry instructor, I was pleased with the quality of the safety video and the staff's genuine effort to make sure everyone watched and gave it the attention it deserves. The video also served as a good explanation of the course and equipment. Speaking of equipment, the scantron system they use for scoring is fantastic. Tournament results take only as long as people turning in their scorecards and the results were immediately displayed on a large TV. Pretty cool! I stopped by the pro shop and it seemed pretty nice and decently stocked. I hope to visit again in the not-too-distant future. It doesn't seem fair that a bunch of negative reviews from what sounds like a wild wedding two years ago are dragging down this venue's reviews. Seems like some since-terminated staff may have unnecessarily escalated too quickly and made some rash decisions but, as a service member myself, just because you serve and traveled in from OCONUS doesn't mean you get a pass for breaking the rules and acting a fool which seems to have contributed greatly to the event going south.”
