“Very fascinating and well presented story of the King & Kenedy families and south Texas. Small, three room museum but gives great background and details on the regional and family histories from the 1850’s on. Presentation is mainly on signs with pictures and stories told on each subject. Large wall dioramas without any supporting details - which would have been very helpful. You can also walk around the yard outside and read a few signs. We found the stories fascinating and were very impressed. Took us about 1 hour, 20 minutes to visit.”

“A great place to be still, pray and enjoy nature. The staff were kind and hospitable. The facilities were more than sufficient and the grounds were extraordinary. I am just an amateur birdwatcher but I counted at least 28 species on the grounds over just three days. I highly recommend Lebh Shomea for group and individual retreats.”
