NAS Kingsville

I was stationed there 1981-1984...AIMD ...I'm from Maryland but I loved Texas. Quiet base, clean barracks, good chow.

I miss the building I used to drill inside NAS Kingsville.

Ive seen the air show practicing here and it is awesome! We used to see the T-45's flying all the time during battle assembly

The level of talent and dedication of ALL the pilots and crews...astonishing.

I was stationed here in 61-64. Was a flight crew member and part of Search & Rescue and Comat Readiness teams. Experienced a lot of events both great and life changing. Lots of air travel and traumatic flight fatalities. I also had the distinction of being awarded a Freedoms Foundation Medal. I was the youngest if not one of the youngest E-4's(18yrs 6mos and again as an E-5 a year later. Life long friends with many fellow servicemen.
