Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Cemetery, Ames

My family is buried here at the Our Mother Of Mercy Creole Catholic Cemetary. During segrigation the church didint allow blacks or mixed race people to be buried in the white cemetary or to attend white mass services.
I have my grandparents, great grands and cousins, uncles here. Im so blessed to be apart of such beautiful history of a Louisana migrated community.
My Heart is full.
