“I lost a little respect for them during my wife’s last visit. They quoted her that the repair would be under $250 and then charged her more when she went to pick up her truck. She wasn’t dealing with the owner like usual. They are usually straight up and have done great work for my wife when I’m out of town. Just make sure you deal with the owner not his employees when it comes to quotes and final bill. UPDATE! After my initial review I was called by Jeff from the shop. He has assured me that he is sincerely sorry for the mis-quote and explained to me in better detail what had happened. He did exactly what I would expect from him after doing so much in the past and always being very satisfied with the work. Not many American owned businesses anymore and I want to see him continue to succeed and prosper. I do believe that shop will be celebrating its 50th year so congratulations and keep up the good work. Travis Luman”

“Went in just for a tune up (my car only needed spark plugs changed). They don't open until 7:30 am, but I got off work at 6 and didn't want to drive all the way home, so I waited in the parking lot. At 7, he came out, took my name and wrote out what I needed, and invited me to wait inside. We were chatting and told him what was going on with my ac, and for $30 more, added on an AC check. The mechanic arrived and started working on my car right away. Toyota wanted to charge me $130 to diagnose the problem, then $400-500 to refill the Freon, after they repaired whatever the issue was, which wasn't covered in the $130. I was told by this company my freon was only a pound low. So for $180 I ended up with a tune up and a working ac again. I will always use Wilkies for my mechanical needs.”
