(March 31, 2019, 5:23 pm)It wasn't noisy and they weren't blasting music. So it's a nice atmosphere for visiting. The food was pretty good, but not quite homemade quality. The catfish was very tender! The hush puppies were cooked just right, but weren't all that flavorful. The fries were excellent, but a little sparse considering the cost ($11-20 per person). The chicken fried steak was a bit on the grisly side and the country gravy had very little to no milk, but the breading on it was really tasty and the mashed potatoes were good. The salads are very fresh, but super simple (just lettuce, tomato, and a little cheese if you want it) and pretty small. The drinks come in huge cups, so you don't have to constantly ask for refills.
