(May 2, 2019, 5:15 pm)You got to have a John Deere. I went in to talk to John he ordered me a z355r zero turn mower. Came straight from the factory they got it in put together for me and get it to me as soon as possible. Wonderful people to work with I'm proud to have my first John Deere. My backyard hadn't been mowed in 3 weeks but it took no time at all for the zero turn to knock it out so I can sit back on the patio and drinking iced tea.
(April 4, 2019, 2:33 pm)Before driving to Shoppa's from out of town I called parts and confirmed they had two of the oil filters in stock. When I arrived there one hour later I found the business had only one other customer in the showroom so they weren't busy. The parts man was sitting at the counter at the computer. I set on the stool almost directly in front of him for I bet two minutes before he said he needed to finish inputing some information. I get it. But at least say up front he'll be with me in a minute. I wasn't the least bit frustrated and was actually entertained by wondering how long I would have to sit there before being assisted.
Turns out the computer indicated the filters were in stock but he couldn't find them. He enlisted the help of a lady and after a few minutes she exited the back without saying anything. Then the parts man came out after a while and just started ringing up an additional item I had on the counter. I said I guess the part can't be found and he said it couldn't. Now I'm not unreasonable and I understand the actual inventory doesn't always match what is on the computer. I can overlook that. It's happened to all of us. But the customer service needs to be improved. I would at least liked for the parts man to have offered to order the filter if I was interested but no....just silence. To his credit the parts man did make a good effort to search for the filter. Am I being too picky? Maybe.
I think the parts man just needs a lesson in providing customer service. I have done business with Shoppa's in the past and been very satisfied. I will continue to do business here and I do recommend this business. I will just order items over the phone in the future before making the trip to pickup due to the long drive. Enough said.
