(July 14, 2022, 12:31 pm)I am thoroughly enjoying the BOM (Block-of-the- Month) Quilt (Starry Night)! It is fun to know and get a box in the mail. I also know that this quilt will get done because it feels doable with instructional sections and not trying to figure out fabric choices (my weakness). This is exactly what I needed to spur me to quilt again and look forward to doing more BOM!
(July 10, 2022, 11:50 am)Red Barn is the best place for fabric, but also machines. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable about anything quilting. Love going to see them and their goodies. Buy a longarm from them and the service is above and beyond.
(June 14, 2022, 8:43 am)The BOM arrives regularly, beautifully packaged & always with sufficient fabric for that month's cutting. Such a pleasure to receive these packages & sew them into blocks.
I originally signed up for a quilt to mess with my sister but I love it so much I've decided to keep this one!
(April 29, 2022, 11:11 am)What a wonderful surprise! I googled "quilt shops" while visiting Lubbock and found Red Barn. I travel a lot, and browse quilt shops all over the U.S. This one is a diamond! It's a short drive from Lubbock-- kind of out in the country --and it's a literal red barn--you can't miss it. It's big inside and loaded with great fabrics. The inventory is very nicely displayed, so roaming through the shop is fun and inspirational. I came away with lots of treasures. Highly recommend.
