The food was fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderful. I had a great time getting lunch with my friend and am planning to return and get the $100 burger. It's a burger that comes with a $100 gift card that I'm sure to come back and use with my family! There's a good variety of food to choose from, decedent looking desserts and refreshing tea.
Great service and very friendly staff. View of planes taking off and landing was amazing. Not the full menu I've seen at other Black Walnuts but plenty of options.
Love this place. Food is always great! Sitting and eating lunch while watching planes land and take off makes it one of our family's favorite places to eat.
Great view, good food, there were also not that many people so it was a good time with my family. Without a doubt a hidden gem.
One thing though is the "self serve" aspect. I mean I get the motto "your place, your pace" lol. Great strategy by the business in my opinion to cut costs by not having to hire servers ???? Definitely not a plus for the people who eat there, no question. People go to a place like Black Walnut Cafe to enjoy the atmosphere, the view, relax and eat with family or friends. Having your guests get up to go pour their drinks and get all of the food seems a bit out of place in such a nice spot. You can't have it all, still a great place with good food.
This has become a family tradition, we go on birthdays / anniversary / etc.
The staff works very hard and the food is always very good and hot. I have always had a good experience with this location and I cannot say the same about the woodlands location.
I did take a star away because they, unfortunately, do not have the staffing or restaurant size for specialty coffees. So no more cappuccino or lattes which is understandable. But we wish they still had them! At least we can still get mimosas.
