“Update: We just visited Whole Foods. The experience was totally different from 10 months ago. The hot bar was incredibly stocked with tasty dishes prepared by the new chefs - Mao and Cody. Both were interested in what we had to say about the foods we enjoyed. We left with quite an assortment of foods for dinner! We also had the pleasure of meeting the new store manager, Kendrick. He is passionate about his work and anxious to make things better for the community. Good job guys! We used to enjoy the hot prepared meals for a delicious quick meal. There was always a great selection. The last couple of visits, however, not so. I guess for the last few months the food has been less than appetizing. Today it seemed that the only meat selection was chicken tandoori... the same for the last 3 weeks or so. We left without purchasing anything.”

I purchased a bag of brushy-tailed opossum treats for our dogs and used them as training treats after seeing how well they were liked by them. “I am not sure of the name of this area. If it is like Whole Foods and Restaurant Row and that would be the Hughes Landing area. It's easy to find off of Lake Woodlands Boulevard. It's right on Lake Woodlands. It's clean and well-kept. There is some free parking around Whole Foods but there is also paid and valet parking along Restaurant Row. It's nice to shop and then walk along the lake.”
