She got to give each Horse a Carrot and pet them all and Pam was very kind and brought many Horses out of the stable and we all got so much information from her. Mama even got a used Horse shoe for a souvenir. We all loved it.”

“It was honestly a great trip, and the beds were so relaxing! On the last night though we did have to deal with some idiots blasting their music in the morning and in the night up until 11:00 PM, but that’s not really Life in Paradise’s fault. Since it’s spring break, there’s bound to be more people renting houses, and a small percentage of those people are going to be inconsiderate people. Overall, great stay!”

Ali does not cook the tortillas UNTIL you order them, the food us not put together until you order it, the food take a LITTLE longer to come out than other places, but I pay that trade off for the taste and customer service I received. “This place has great food - LOVED the eggs and hash browns and would absolutely come back. Pancake was a little crispy for my liking but still tasty and very filling - you won’t walk away hungry. Only reason for 4 stars is because of how small the place is - we were told about 45 minute wait and ended up waiting close to 2 hours for a table. Definitely too small of a space for how delicious the food is, which brings a lot of customers. They call your name out loud so you have to be there. I would maybe recommend going early morning to try and avoid so long of a wait?”

“Dr. Curtis is extremely knowledgeable and has colleagues who are, as well. He approaches topics from a wellness stance and not "a pill for every ill" stance, though he is not averse to medication. Why take pharma when dietary and lifestyle changes offer more comprehensive solutions? He has worked with me for 15+ years trying to isolate some things upon which modern medicine doesn't have data. He was 70% correct immediately upon the first visit. The rest has taken both him and me researching and trying to pinpoint the issue, which it has been, now. I appreciate a doctor who doesn't give up just because he wasn't taught something in med school, but goes the extra mile. Thanks, Doc!”

“Stayed here 4th of July weekend, and it was great! Texas State Aquarium and the Lexington was down the street. Backyard is huge acts as extra parking and kids ran around while we barbecued and watching the fireworks from the beach was perfect and just a short walk away! Owners are the sweetest ppl. I snapped a photo right after I ate a couple mini-tacos and still so much to go. Husband got the Mexican plate!! Enchiladas made with American cheese which is so hard to find. Prices decent and super clean restaurant. The furniture is heavy and custom made for the restaurant. I highly recommend trying it out!”
