“I attended the 2019 Quilt show in Robstown.TX. Sew Hooked had a booth there and I spied an easy but lovely quilt made from the Villa Rosa Design pattern Stars N Stripes. I found new (to me) military print fat quarters but not the yardage I needed. The graciously volunteered to call the shop and have my order cut and delivered that afternoon at the venue. I was about to leave a bit early thinking I wouldn't be able to get my fabric that day when one of the owners tracked me down to let me know it was there early. They are thoughtful and went out of their was to make me, the customer happy. Glad to have a new stop to meet my fabric needs! THANK YOU!”

“This my favorite thing I did in Port A! We took the adult only cruise and it was super fun. The pirate staff is very entertaining and have great senses of humor! The drinks were good. It took just under 2 hours, they pass around a clipboard so we could write our song picks, started mock fights with the visitors and just kept all in good spirits. Just so much fun!!! We were lucky and saw many little dolphin groups swimming not too far from the ship. We ate at Fin's next door and the food was amazing! 100% would recommend this to anyone and everyone.”

“Enjoy a beautiful stroll on an amazing path that Overlooks the shipping channel and winds their way through title marshes. Keep your eyes peeled you will see everything from geckos, turtles, migrating Shorebirds, look the rosette spoonbill and of course the dolphin show has the Freighters go by. When we visited there was also a story book Trail that featured the children's book about the Roseate spoonbill. This added an extra layer of fun for the family. Bring plenty of water as the walk get very warm in the summer. There is plenty of parking and a bathroom. They are doing some upgraded Construction and sometimes parking is limited. There is several Pavilions for shade along the way and one large Pavilion that overlooks a lake. This would be a good spot for a picnic. Also if you remember you will get a better look at all the wildlife if you bring binoculars. Do you have your wits about you as our walk was early in the morning and we did cross paths with a couple who was not there to view the wildlife.”

“I went to visit a friend that I used to work with. Living in a mobile home community myself I take notice of alot of things others typically wouldn't. The grounds were well maintained. No vehicles torn down up on jack stands, no refrigerators on the front porch or W/D er's for that matter. To sum up , very quiet, neat, well maintained community. I would have scored it 5 ⭐but I couldn't because the mobile community I live in is hands down one of if not the best in Nueses County. I do have to add the streets need alot of attention. My ratings are based off of a couple or family looking to get out of apartment rental blues and take first steps into the American dream , home ownership. This park has affordable homes for those who are ready to step out of apartment living and enjoy a little more of the private and personal living experience.”
