“This police department is excellent- as I believe all PDs that I have interacted with over the years are. Specifically, I have had to call APD for a Welfare Check on my daughter twice when her phone was out and I could not reach her. The Dispatcher was great, responded professionally and the Officer immediately performed the check and called me personally to report the status. As a retired mental health professional I know very well the situations they often encounter and the difficulty of obtaining services appropriate for the mentally disturbed! I would never support such a ridiculous idea as defunding the police. They need more funds and support services for their health and especially for managing mentally disturbed citizens in the community. Thank you APD for all you do and please stay safe!! “Our family of seven spent five nights. Every member of the staff any of us met or came across was friendly, chatty, and was extremely helpful! They’re currently doing renovations to rooms but we never heard any noise during our stay. The rooms were nice and neat, we were offered laundry services, we had mini fridges and microwaves in each of our rooms. We had so many wonderful places to eat within five minutes of us. We were ten minutes away from a ferry ride to Port Aransas. The prices for multiple rooms was excellent. We will definitely stay again and recommend you stay, too!”

“We have been here for over a month and I will say that the park is clean with paved roads and sites, with plenty of space between each site. All facilities are well maintained. Laundry is quarters only $1.75 to wash/ $1.50 to dry plus .25 cents each additional 7 minutes just for a heads up. Pool area and showers are nice and clean. You do have to ENTER THE POOL through the restrooms, there seems to be a lot of confusion about this for some reason. If you have pets: there are stickers and fire ants EVERYWHERE. We have all been bit on several occasions. I have seen maintenance out putting stuff on the ant hills, so they are aware of it and working on it. They took down the old playground and have a new one going up, unfortunately all of the pieces have been sitting there for several weeks. There is NO cable here, and there is NO internet here AT THIS TIME. They are installing new internet but it has been a month now. I really don't understand the delay. So if you work from home (like I do) or home school (like we do) or would like to watch TV on occasion (as we do) I would NOT recommend this park at this time. I would ASK about this PRIOR to booking to make sure these things are up and WORKING. Office staff is wonderful. Other than the lack of internet and cable, this place is a very nice place.”

“Had a great experience! The pharmacist who assisted me was so very polite, masculine, and overweight but in a husky sorta way ya know. Anyways, he was very knowledgeable and patient with me. Even though I kept asking if he’s seen Candice. Long story short it can. Then I faked a heart attack. Jacob Went above and beyond afterward to help me. But wouldn’t give me mouth to mouth. In the end we formed a life long bond. I will definitely continue business here.”

“Nice, clean hotel. Their deluxe king bedroom was nice and spacious. But what made my stay great was the service! Everyone was nice and helpful, but I want to give a special shoutout to Sohn at breakfast! He was so kind, gave a full rundown of everything available at breakfast when I arrived, helped me as I made my plate, and even walked with me to the elevator to push the buttons because my hands were full with my plate and beverage. His warm, joyful energy in the morning gave my day the perfect start!”
