This is a very nice place. The rooms were nice and comfortable. Comfortable beds and pillòws. Soft, large towels. The Staff were super friendly. Very clean. Really good breakfast. We will definitely be coming back
Inn On The River is a picturesque, charming, and historic B & B on the Puluxy River in Glen Rose Texas. We were greeted with welcoming innkeeper and staff who saw to our every need. I have travelled the world but this bed and breakfast rises above all! The small city of Glen Rose has it's own charm with local restaurants, music with friendly people, a place to walk where dinosaurs walked! There is a tavern behind the house sitting on the river to hang out with family and friends. The Inn is truly a special get away for anyone and is about 1 hour from Ft. Worth. It is on the Texas Historic Registry. Thank you Pamela and your caring staff for the marvelous experience. Inn On The River should be on everyone's bucket list!
Excellent place for our group of ten. We're coming back!!! Located right on the river; excellent breakfast; great common areas for eating, playing games, and talking; friendly innkeeper and staff; walking distance into town of Glen Rose; parking in behind the inn away from the street; on-site restaurant/bar right by the river; excellent local restaurant located across the street; chairs and fire pit by the river. The room was fine, nothing special.
We had a lovely stay at the Inn On The River. The room was quaint and comfortable and the owner was very hospitable and accommodating. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the Inn and the area, which made our stay even more interesting. Breakfast was tailored to our preferences and was both healthy and delicious. The location was walking distance to some shopping areas and historical sites and a short driving distance to Dinosaur Valley State Park and other local parks and attractions. I highly recommend staying here!
We had a great overnight stay in this quant historic inn. Super mellow vibe, full access to the grounds, ample parking, and walk to anywhere in main square Glen Rose. Rooms were shockingly cool for an older building during summer Texas heat. Staff was wonderful & friendly. Snyder's Tavern had great cocktails & food and felt like having your own private pub. And the most delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies ever were in the lobby! Thank you Pam & Scott⭐
