  I live less than 2 miles from the factory, and I also pick up there for our grocery stores, Albertson's/ Tom Thumb. Very clean factory. Delicious pies! But my favorite is the coconut. I could eat that filling by itself. Taste like grandmas pie filling! Peach and apricot are great heated, then put into a bowl of ice cream. Talk about a quick fix for cobbler, and ice cream, mmmmm!!! But seriously, all of the flavors are excellent. I should not live so close!!!!! ?

  I had never heard of Mindy Lu's. I seen them today at a local gas station and decided to give them a try on the packaging alone. I wasn't disappointed. Tastes like a homemade pie. I will be ordering some online.

  Here we go. For those who are so used to sugary coated pies, these are not for you. For those who like an old fashioned fried pie these are for you. Without the sugary outside, it leaves you able to taste the wonderful filling inside. My favs are blueberry and apple. Heated or cold they are excellent. Mrs. Bairds (Bimbo Bakery) pies are not anything close to this. These have more fruit than anyone else's. Enjoy a step back in time. One day I am going to stop by the factory and buy a dozen or so.
