My wife & I live in California and we met a land agent from No Fence Land Co. named Brandon Azuelo over a year ago from a referral through a coworker. Brandon drove out to meet us in Ft. Worth and he spent several hours educating us as to the state of affairs in Texas and how he could help. We kept in contact for over a year as we prepped and sold our house out of state.
When the time came we picked two ranches we liked and flew to Texas to meet Brandon and he had both properties set up for viewing. We all had breakfast together and he brought his truck and ATV for the tour. I can't tell you how nice it was to see he had thought to pack his cooler with water for us as we were not used to the heat. On the way to the first property Brandon informed us of a new property that just went on sale that morning. Frankly, I thought it was a "sales tactic" at first. We toured and loved the first property and were already calculating how to squeeze this property into our budget. We then toured and hated the second property. We agreed to drive an hour away to see the new listing since property #2 was a bust.
About 30 seconds after we started the tour of the new property, my wife and I looked at each other and we already knew THIS was the one! Every foot we went deeper into the woods just made it better and better.
By the end of the tour we were ready to do like we do where we're from and prepare an "over asking" offer. Brandon put the brakes on that real quick. He said he needed a few days to research comps and come up with a realistic offer. We flew home and were on pins and needles for several days. Brandon let us know the property was way over priced and we came up with an offer range that was more realistic. We thought it was too low but our first offer was immediately accepted.
Brandon had a chance to make a significantly bigger commission by taking advantage of out of state buyers. He did not. He proved his integrity and professionalism when it mattered most.
We now own what is to us the most magnificent ranch in Texas and we couldn't have done it without Brandon's patience, research and integrity. I never had a question he couldn't answer and he was available at almost anytime of the day or night to communicate with us.
