Burleson Animal Emergency Hospital

Had to take my baby Molly here for GI issues this morning and was met with hospitality as well as compassion from the receptionist. My primary vet was booked today. We had no other choice because we were thinking it could have been a partial blockage and it needed to be taken care of immediately. We were brought into an exam room promptly and greeted by the technician shortly thereafter who was also very pleasant. The diagnosis was expected and we were given very thorough instructions for discharge as well as medications. The Dr was very personable and immediately gave some lovins to Molly. When the exam and diagnosis were finished, the tech&Dr were in and out of our room, Molly would cry when they left and wait by the door. She is a very anxious dog and normally hates meeting new people but the fact she was so quick to trust them shows that even behind closed doors they are compassionate and caring.

A few years ago we had to take Molly here because she was attacked by a stray dog when we were taking her potty at our old apartment complex. They took excellent care of her then as well. If you ever have an emergency for your animal this is the place to go. Thank you all for taking care of us today.

I brought my elderly service animal here to be euthanized yesterday morning and it could not have gone better. The staff were quick, attentive, understanding, and all around wonderful. I was so terrified to go through with this decision but the staff here really do help you and your pet feel safe. They even gave us 2 of these cute pins. I would trust bringing my pets to this hospital again completely, and to the wonderful staff, thank you for making a painful day go at least very easily and peacefully!

I am very grateful to have this ER in my hometown. For the second time our kitty had complete urinary blockage. This is a life and death emergency. And for the second time now they saved and treated him. The staff was loving and kind to our Boodles during his stay, they call 2 times a day with updates. The vets and assistants are super knowledgeable about his situation.
After our first emergency we were surprised at the cost , but after we got home and thought about it we realized that they had a vet in the facility 24/7. And they are able to treat and keep quite a few animals. The knowledge ,experience and accessibility is going to cost some money. They also have an amazing staff to pay.
Boodles got sick on a Friday, so if they closed on weekends like most vets , he wouldn’t be here today.so I am grateful that they are willing to work weekends and nights to save lives of beloved pets like Boodles !

Everyone is so sweet! Myself and my husband recently visited this animal ER in hopes of them being able to help our sick puppy. Unfortunately our sweet angel passed and everyone was just so kind and comforting to us. It’s never easy to put down someone’s fur baby and have to tell their owner the sad news and everyone handled everything great and they just really cared. We got there and didn’t have to wait they took angel back immediately due to his illness. I appreciate how quick and fast she took our baby back we were so scared and it just felt good to have someone take it serious and care so much about our fur baby. Not to mention the sweet cards they send after you lose your fur baby. They even planted a tree for our baby. Best experience and even though we left without our sweet angel I feel some peace to know the decision we made was the best one for him.

As full time on the road rv travelers, losing our big boy was even a bit tougher than past babies, where we had a yard to make them a grave with a memorial. We didn't even have our vet (in FL) that Midas had seen since a pup to add a layer of comfort through familiar faces... I had to call everywhere and make a decision as to where to take him. They were absolutely amazing in their interaction with Midas and us. We felt so comfortable and genuine compassion with the staff.
