For almost 3 years I’ve had back pain due to a herniated disk. I had to take 2 steroid shots to my lower back followed by physical therapy for 3 months. In the end, I don’t know if the physical therapy worked or it was simply the steroid shot that I received. However, In the last couple of months I started to get the pain again, but this time it was worse than ever before. To the point where I could not even get out of bed or drive for more than 30 minutes before my back would start aching with pain. I had no idea what my next step would be? Did I need to get the second session of steroid shots? continue taking pain medication on a daily basis to help ease the pain?
