  Before finding ZL Performance, I could barely walk, sit, or sleep. An MRI showed that the bottom two discs in my back were severely herniated. My doctor prescribed physical therapy and a cortisone shot.
  
  Nothing worked. PT left me feeling better, but 30 minutes after walking out the door, my muscles pulled my back out of alignment again. I asked the therapist why he was treating my pain and not the cause of the pain. His response was, "If you broke your arm, would you treat the pain or what broke it?"
  
  That was my last day of PT.
  
  As I began to prepare for surgery, I was introduced to Tyler at ZL Performance. After one session, I felt more relief than I'd felt in months of PT. Over the next few weeks, he focused on correcting my posture and giving me exercises that would keep my posture and back aligned in my daily life. The exercises were tailored to the life of someone who runs and exercises regularly but spends the majority of the work day in front of a desk.
  
  Two and a half years later, I still check in with Tyler every few months to make sure that I'm doing things correctly and am aligned. I have a full suite of exercises he's given me over the last two years, and I do a subset of them every morning for about half an hour. I'm at the point now where I can tell from the smallest twinge in my back what exercises I need to do to head off any major pain.
  
  I run and exercise 4 or 5 times a week. Most importantly, I can pick up and play with my 2 year-old and 4 year-old whenever I want without any restrictions.
  
  And I tell all my friends that I work out with major league baseball players...
  
  I can't recommend ZL Performance highly enough.

  ZL Performance is some of the best pitching instruction around. My son Graham has been going there for a few years now and he has improved significantly.
