The Vineyards Campground & Cabins

We love Grapevine and this campground makes it that much more special to us. We always feel spoiled here, clean campground weekend fun activities and a friendly staff. This was our 8th visit and we weren’t disappointed.

I rarely take the time to post a review. I always have good intentions but I let life get in the way and I forget. Today is not the case. I have been coming to this campground for years as it is so well maintained and managed. But what really keeps me coming back are the hosts. In particular this last year, Lee and Rich. They have been amazing! They go out of their way to ensure my stay here at the Vineyards is memorable. I just wanted to take the time to say thank you to Lee and Rich and the entire staff at the Vineyards. I will be spreading the word!!! Grateful….

Beautiful Campground. I had an issue with my slide out on the day I was suppose to leave. I was unable to leave because my slideout wouldn’t go in. The campground was packed and I knew I was in trouble. Luckily a spot just opened up but they required me to move to the new spot with my slide open. I explained to the guy who was in a rush to move me out of my spot before check out time, that it was not a good idea to drive a motorhome with a slide out. I felt like I was getting pushed out. The guy who took my spot was in another spot and told me the same guy was trying to push him out so someone could take his spot.

The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because of the guy who was pushing me out of my spot before I had to leave.

The staff at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful.

We have stayed at The Vinyard several times and have always enjoyed ourselves. The staff are knowledgeable, efficient and very patient. I spoke to Lee today as we were wanting to extend our stay and Lee found a slot for our rig that would work for us. He went out of his way to make it work quickly before someone else booked the vacancy. Thank you Lee!!
