My fiancé and I were gifted a Groupon for here for dance lessons for our first dance song. Our dance instructor, Eric, was phenomenal! Honestly the entire staff was so lovely, all so welcoming and made you feel at ease. We told them what we were looking to get out of our lesson and they delivered flawlessly.
If you are looking for a place to learn to dance, especially if you are a complete newbie, this is the place for you! Looking to learn to dance for your wedding? Definitely come here.
My lessons are always the highlight of my week!!! Everyone is very personable and supportive - the manager, the instructors and fellow students! Love you guys and thank you for all you do : )))
My daughter wanted to take some ballroom dance lessons. They were great and set up a great package for her to be able to learn. She is loving it. A little pricey but worth it.
My philosophy when I first started dancing at Arthur Murray almost 2 years ago was "if it isn't fun, I'm not doing it!" I am sill here!
Ian has a caring, compassionate, concern for each of his student's comfort level with the steps. He patiently explains each step and the philosophy behind it. He genuinely wants his students to feel good about their skills before stepping onto the dance floor. The wealth of knowledge that he has acquired after 14+ years of teaching with Arthur Murray is amazing.
Julian, well he is a whole nother story! He is young, high energy and exuberant. Julian will be your biggest cheerleader! He makes dancing fun while you're learning. He is intelligent, articulate and precise.
Bennett, the manager, gives the place that warm and fuzzy feeling. Her presence adds to the family atmosphere so much because she takes the time to know all of the dancers and treats them as if they were a part of her family (She is the mother hen of the group!). Needless to say, I love being there and I so appreciate the people there. These times are so uncertain but Arthur Murray is a constant, always aware of and following CDC guidelines for safety.
I love this place. I had been looking forward to visiting the facility for the first time yesterday. I was greeted by Julian, Alyce, Bennett, Madeline, and Brandon. All five of them are very welcoming and one can see in their demeanor that your dance goals are their highest priority. For me since I would like to compete, finding a place where I am going to be cherished is imperative as I train. I have to say this place is the example of how a dance studio should be run. The five of them gave me that Southern Hospitality that one deserves and they made me feel like a special individual as opposed to a number like 98% of the studios do. I appreciate they acknowledge however do not obsess over the COVID19 situation like many studios have this year.
