Nice environment. 9 year old Neice invited for a kids summer camp. Kids had loads of fun. Great parking. Lots of space on the campus.
What matters to me and my family is if the leadership and the church culture: (1) Uphold the Bible as authoritative and submit to it even when it says hard or unpopular things, (2) Have a passion and team-oriented mission to grow and make new disciples of Jesus, (3) Are filled with a spirit of humility, love, confession and repentance and attempt to live out what the scriptures teach. I thank God for the all the capable, loving, and humble leaders He has grown and assembled at the Mount who are following Christ and inviting everyone to join them.
This is where you will hear the Gospel and biblical truth. Great children's program, teen program, and adult community groups to walk through life with. Very friendly. Music is upbeat and scripturally sound. Worship team varies week to week but has great sound and not too loud. Also offers online Sunday morning options. Dont miss this one when you are looking for a church home.
When we first walked in it "felt" like we had come home. The hymns we grew up with are sung here; the teaching is inspiring and true to the Word; the Mount "family" is welcoming. I could go on and on and on but suffice it to say you are welcome here; you will want to come back; you will look forward to waking up on Sunday and be excited!
Breath of Fresh air. Loved the preaching today during our first visit. Down to earth church, preaching not focused on feel good type of service, but honest, applicable message based on the Gospel. For the first time our teenage daughter mentioned that she absolutely “loved the sermon and felt a connection”. We loved praising Jesus with them!
