“Full disclosure, I am a member of this congregation. Regardless, I recommend this church to anyone looking for a spiritual challenge. If you are serious about growing spiritually, then come with an open heart and open mind. Whether you are a seasoned veteran believer or just curious about Christianity, you will learn something. The pastor (Samuel Clintoc) is very well educated, but is also very real. He is easily approachable and care deeply for the spiritual well-being of all under his care. As for the body of this local church, you won't find a friendlier group. Every visitor is welcomed and included. If you really want to find some friends, Sunday School is a great way to get connected to your peers. Park Hills is no different. In fact, SS is the reason my family ended up at this church. As for the governance, this church body follows the congregationalist model. Membership is encouraged for those that are believers. Once a member, you are entitled to discuss, debate, and vote on church business. ”

“I’ve been a part of this church for more than 18 years now – it is where I grew up. It’s a loving family of faith, eager to welcome newcomers and share the love of Jesus. Services last about an hour, and the sermons are top notch—not to mention, under 15 minutes long! The 10:45 a.m. service features a country gospel band in addition to the organ hymns, which is pretty unique. I would recommend Christ Lutheran to anyone looking for a Bible-based, [fairly] traditional, warm and welcoming church to call home.”
