We saw this place and finally was able to give it a shot. Lizzy is such a sweetheart and caring person. She let us try a sample of funnel cake she is experimenting with, and she makes her own batch of chicken fried steak breading and it was delicious!!😊She has such experience with food and ingredients. AND she understands Spanish! Such a good touch❤ this is a must go place if you are passing through👍🏽 wont be disappointed.
My initial thought was that the food truck outside the bar would not be very good. It was definitely an anomaly. Lizzy takes a lot of care in preparation, and it shows. I recommend trying her food for sure. After I ate it, I recommended to her that she raise her prices by 50%.
My wife and I stopped by earlier today out of curiosity (after literally just eating lunch)...of course we had to order the enchiladas...DELICIOUS! She was so sweet and accommodating and let us sit in the car out of the heat. Then she rang a bell to let us know it was ready! Hospitality at its finest! Unfortunately there was a strange man at the window who petted my to-go food (seriously) as she was handing it to me. I didn’t want to leave her there alone (sorry girl!) but we will definitely return!
Wow! I am so impressed with by Lizzy and her food. This afternoon she made me a ground beef and onion taco and a taco with bean bacon and potato. They were literal perfection. On top of that, the salsa she provided with it had fantastic flavor and texture. To top it off she had an assortment of REASONABLY PRICED coffee options. All together my meal was like $8, with a large coffee. Killer food, awesome owner. Hands down worth going back to over and over!
Eaten there a few times since opening. It always hits just the right spot! They have done an amazing job getting it going and they literally are local. Hard to find real “handmade” anything anymore, but you can get it here! Love it!
