“I can't believe no one has reviewed this yet. I lived in one of Julia's apartments for 2 years and it was far and away the best renting experience of my life. I do not anticipate ever coming close to it again. If you have the opportunity to be a tenant with Hix Properties, DO IT! Things are fixed often within hours of reporting a problem, Julia is the sweetest lady and really cares about tenants as humans, and you might even get some cookies at Christmas. No joke. Wish I could give more than 5 stars, and when does that ever happen with a property management situation.”

“We love this apartment complex, our village and our managers Jonathan and Algae. Jonathan is always an email away from answering any questions, and Algae sends out awesome email blasts keeping us updated on events and occurrences in our complex. We renewed our lease and will renew again depending on how much our rent increases. We know the rates are based on the market and come down from corporate so nothing our managers can manipulate for us no matter how much the increase. Austin pricing is just getting so outrageous and we don't forsee finding a better price for the quality we have here. Maintenance is swift even with so many units to cover and the few times we've needed pest control they've always done a good job. Both maintenance and pest leave notes which we appreciate. The gym is awesome except it just closed for repairs for a while which is kind of a bummer but it'll be nice when it's finished. The main pool rocks and each village had it's own pool too. Honestly no complaints at all so far, we love it and would definitely recommend it.”
