“Many of the people who currently stay at this hotel are longterm stays. Some are elderly on fixed incomes, many are workers who are here for a few weeks to months to oversee the construction work on i10. The hotel is safe, very affordable, is run on the backs of loyal and tenacious employees, and you can't beat that pool on a hot Texas day! Although some things in the rooms are outdated, they recently got new A/C units for many of the rooms and are in the process of ordering all new furniture. The front building is almost ready to open and will stand as the Lobby for The Brooke Hotel, and will also have a restaurant inside. Many bad reviews have been written about this hotel but I believe those reviews were written by persons of whom had a set standard in mind and booked the cheapest hotel they could find in the area with the assumption that they would receive more than what they expected... If you judge a fish on it's ability to climb a tree, so on so forth. 5 stars from me!”

I've made the trip out from Katy to buy squirrel and possum traps because they have the green wire kind (not sure of the brand) that works better than Havahart. They have a great selection of animal vaccines and seeds that you can't find other places too.”
