LeafSpring School at Cedar Park

We toured a dozen schools before we decided to enroll our 2 preschoolers at Leaf Spring. Because of our previous bad experience, I decided to do my research this time and not go to the first one I toured because they had fancy features. I am so happy that we decided to put a larger investment in and I am happy with the quality we get for the money. The ratios are the lowest you will find in the area and I am willing to pay a few more dollars than the going rate for that alone. I’d rather pay money towards lower ratios than splash pads, water features, and indoor playgrounds.

They have nurses and the “Get Well Place”. This offers such a peace of mind to us when we are at work and can’t get away immediately to pick up our sick child. I work from home but can’t run out of a conference call if the school calls. I have noticed our children are sick far less often than their previous school. The food is far more nutritious compared to other menus we saw which paled in comparison. My children ask me why I can’t cook like the chef at school! They serve organic dairy which is an added bonus for a family like ours that tries to be conscious of what we eat.

Our oldest just entered the after school program at the Village last year. We contemplated saving money and going to the YMCA program at her school, but we just couldn’t imagine her not having the experience the Village has to offer. Safety and ratios are something we don’t want to compromise and those were also questionable when I saw the after school program at the elementary school.

No school is perfect, they are all humans after all. No one will care for your child just like you would, but I think this school offers the next best thing. I will say that how the management handles the situations that arise is drastically different than our previous experience at our other school. I can go to management (and find them easily!) with the smallest concern and it is handled immediately. I see action and not just talk as I did previously. The director that toured us is still there a couple of years later and she knows my children by name. The teachers and staff really love the children and it shows when we walk through the halls and teachers that aren’t my child’s know him by name. Bottom line, if you are looking for a well rounded education, safety, in a clean, loving environment, look no further.

I have had nothing but great experiences here with the staff. I got offered a new job on a Thursday with a start date of Monday and the Director was able to get me in and all my paperwork done as quickly as possible for my baby to start that Monday. I have a 9 month old and I absolutely love the infant room teachers! My baby had a difficult adjustment period and needed more cuddles than most and they took the time to hold her and make her feel safe. I get regular updates on how she is doing and pictures and it really eases my mind being away from her all day. I would definitely recommend this place!

My daughter has been with rainbow station for the last 18 months and so far, it has been a fantastic experience. We were very worried, coming from a different daycare to Rainbow Station, if we would have a similar experience here, but our concerns were completely allayed within the first few months. The teachers here seem to genuinely care for the kids and tend to create a very nice environment for the early stage development of the little ones. Also, the facility is very neat and well maintained. All in all, this is a great place and would highly recommend it.

My son attended Rainbow station for 18 months during 2012-13 time frame.I am very pleased with the academic curriculum and the quality of the staff members. The staff is credentialed/certified, and very nurturing. Everyone is so nice and the kids are very well behaved and respectful. This school is the best quality for your money in the area. My son transformed during those 18 months and I would highly recommend this school.
