The sandwich artist was okay. Most of the time I have pretty good service from this location.
I give the sandwich artist's a thumbs up. They were busy and doing pretty good keeping up.very friendly. Made myself and family of 4 a great sub.
Really good tamales! I suggest making an order or going in early cuz they go quick
I'm from a border town so I'm very particular with tamales. These freezing temperatures had me craving tamales so I googled and found this place 25 minutes away from me. I decided to get some and I must say, they are the best tamales I've had since moving away from my hometown. Some reviews say they are a bit pricey BUT after seeing and tasting them, totally worth it and I would even pay more! The masa is perfectly flavored and the fillings are delicious. We tried the spicy pork and a mix dozen that bean & cheese, chicken and pork. I will definitely be ordering more, a lot more, when the holidays come around again.
Hands down the best Tamales you will find anywhere outside of Austin. Its truly hard to beat the great rich flavor that is packed inside each and every bite of a tamale. The service is great, I've bought Tamales from MarLira for years. From back in the day when they were sold on the side of the road and everywhere in between. I'm glad that she finally has a place in a good location to serve her traditional treats. She has a perfect balance in each tamale not too much masa or too much fillings but just the right amount of both. They also make a quality burger too if you're not craving Tamales.
Had a craving for tamales and found this little gem. We called to find out if they had any tamales left and was able to pick up in less than 30 min. Ordered 2 dozen spicy pork tamales and they were amazing! Paid a little more than expected but totally worth it!
I went there today about noon, she let me try 2 kinds before buying and then the gentlemen/cook brought me the cream/jalapeno and wow, they were so good, I knew my wife would like them but she refused to try one and I told my wife cumon trust try 1, so she did and guess what? She ate half dozen of them + the 1/2 of beef and pork mixed...she said they were so good that she wants me to order a lot more next time. We will be driving from Georgetown to get more soon.
Thank you both, tomatoes were the bomb.
