1st time at the store on Rail Road. Easy to get to. Things are set up nicely in sections. Nice selection of items. Prices are good. Clerks/Volunteers are friendly.
Good thrift items at a fair price. I've found some very nice items over the months I've shopped here. It's hit or miss if you're searching for a particular item. But, if you enjoy browsing antiques and other items, this is the store for you.
The caring place in Georgetown is truly one of the best thrift stores in the area, and their Second Helping location is tailored for those thrifters that are looking for more unique vintage and antique items. The staff/volunteers are always incredibly kind and the store is very clean and set up like a boutique or antique store. Prices are a little higher than at their main store, but very, very reasonable for the quality. Would definitely recommend to any local thrifters looking for antique home goods and would be a great place to stop by if antiquing through Texas. They always stock vintage/antique glassware, artwork, and linens and all items are usually in immaculate condition and well displayed. Purchases benefit those in need in Georgetown!
Lovely linens, crochet items. Found a perfect small vintage baby carriage for prop for one of my dolls. Store associate brought forward an adorable child's vintage apron. What an amazing item. Will display it and try to make pattern of it for my doll. Loved my visit. Everyone was so very nice.
