Kalahari Resorts & Conventions - Round Rock

We had a great experience at Kalahari! We only stayed one night but could have easily stayed 3. The food was wonderful everywhere we went and the service was great. Even the lifeguards operating the slides were so kind! Tom Foolery's was a blast. Definitely budget a good chunk of money to drop in there along with several hours, if not a whole day. The entire place was kept so clean as well. I constantly saw people wiping everything down. We will definitely be back!

My family of four (2 adults, a teenager and a toddler) stayed 2 nights. We really enjoyed ourselves. Staying here is comparable to being on a cruise ship meaning it's designed to make you want to stay. We enjoyed the water park because there was something for all age groups. We enjoyed the arcade and we did an escape room as a family. Head's up: you will spend a lot of money in the arcade just be ready for that. My husband and I didn't get a chance to enjoy one of the bars or live music outside because this trip was kid-focused however, if you are able to travel with a babysitter or family who are old enough to watch the little ones an evening at one of the bars would be a great conclusion to a day at the water park. We stayed in a basic room, but I'd love to upgrade to a suite with a private bedroom for the adults. Oh, and be prepared for the funds they put on hold on your credit card so you can charge goods to your room because they don't do cash here as a form of payment. The only cash used is for tips. I'd recommend coming and staying 3 nights to take it all in...be prepared to spend, but know it's all worth it. Kalahari Resorts and Conventions really does their job well; they provide the venue, you bring the family. The rooms and grounds are clean and the staff is extremely positive and helpful. We will be coming again.

It was a great time. The food was good. It was a little pricey, but you expect that at places like this. When the food and service are good, you don't mind the price so bad. I would have personally liked more lighting, especially in the bathroom. Makes it difficult for applying makeup. I think the bungalows should have had a lower price if you are an overnight guest.
