So to let everyone know that if you have any issues with a gas or Diesel engine, then definitely take it to Christopher at 181 Auto. The experience was definitely the best of any auto mechanic shop anywhere, hands down!! I had a problem with my #7 cylinder not working. I had it diagnosed at 2 reputable places and both told me that I had to either have a head rebuilt or engine replaced (both costs $5-8k)After talking to Chris on the phone he knew exactly what the problem was. I took it in and he told me what needed to be done and not only did he do the repairs he kept in touch throughout the whole process as well as let me know if anything else needed to be done and asked before he did it. He is very meticulous and knowledgeable and very very HONEST! I will not ever use anyone else and the cost was not near what a new engine that these other lazy companies where trying to sell me just because they did not want to do the "dirty work". I highly recommend to anyone here to use him. Plus he is our neighbor and a disabled veteran as am I and just wants to do honest hard work. My truck runs better than it did when I bought it. Chris and Steffinie are awesome. I took my 2000 Ford F-150 here for a tune up and had it in and out same day. Chris also took the time to show me the old parts he replaced, and explain what was wrong with them. 10/10 I will gladly take my other vehicles here.

I took a car in to get an oil change and mentioned that I would be taking an extended drive and he offered to give it a once over prior to the drive.

The service that Chris provided was quick and priced at what I expected. With his inspection, he even found the issue with the drivers window and informed me what was needed to fix it if I chose to do so, also knowing I was going on an extended drive in Texas he even took the time to make sure the A/C was in proper working order!

I intend to return to 181 auto for any additional work on my other vehicles!
