Bridgeport Heritage Museum

Really cool museum, located in the basement of the Chamber of Commerce. It's packed full of all kinds of interesting history from the town/county.

Would have given 5 stars, however, there were some digital learning aspects we would have loved to interact with, especially our child, unfortunately the TV's were either not turned on or they were broken. I was also disappointed that several areas of the museum were very dark, there was overhead lighting in these areas, but again no power or broken.

It is self touring, so going at your own leisure was definitely a plus. Great opportunities for learning, especially for Texas state history/homeschool.

It's very small but it definitely utilizes the little space it has to work with to the fullest. If you ever go, check out the jail cell...
