“Outstanding little French restaurant. We flew into DCA rush and rather than fight traffic stopped here for dinner on a whim. We ordered gazpacho, onion soup, moules et frites and salade Nicoise. Both soups were fantastic! The Gruyère was amazing in the soup. Both main plates were excellent. We then ordered desserts… these were sublime! Have to come back and try more on the menu! Attentive service and the restaurant is well appointed.”

“Large Starbucks with ample free parking and plenty of seating. It has more of a cafeteria feel, but there is plenty of room to spread out and get work done. Lots of mobile orders are processed here and that is the quickest way in and out. The service is middle of the road, nothing of note good or bad, just doing their job which is appreciated. They do keep things moving and I’ve never seen much of a line here. If you want Starbucks, this is a good option. Mobile order if you want out quick, or if you want to grab your coffee and get straight to work.”

“I highly recommend Cameron Cafe. Decided to venture out of my local area and try out a new coffee shop on a Saturday morning and couldn’t have been happier with my pick. The coffee was good, my lemon ricotta muffin was dense and delicious, the staff was wonderful and friendly, and the shop was very clean. My husband got a Turkey sandwich that he thoroughly enjoyed. After eating, we went for a little walk around the nearby park which was lovely.”

“If a children's museum and a playground were fused together, you'd get Scramble. Instead of focusing on competition or challenges, the play space is all about exploration. It's a subtle thing, but it means that kids play together and stay happy together. The establishment is clean, spacious, and well maintained. Staff courteous, gentle, and seemingly well prepared to keep things on the level. We had our daughter's fourth birthday here, and it was a blast. Even the parents enjoyed themselves, which for us is the gold standard of a kids birthday. Final note, instead of a gift shop selling cheap plastic toys, this place has a wonderful bookstore with great kids books. That basically captures the energy of the place perfectly. Take your kids there, have a birthday party there, we suspect you won't be disappointed, we never are.”

“My stay at Motel 6, Chula Vista, CA, was absolutely great!! The room was very clean and quiet. I was upgraded to one of their suites, which was awesome, very spacious and very comfortable. I totally enjoyed my stay and will stay again in the near future. One of the staff, Don, was very helpful and very professional. Don truly knows the meaning of "excellent customer service", and is truly, one of the reasons, I will definitely be back, in the future. This Motel 6 is located near a lot of well known restaurants. When I stay at a hotel, the two things I look for are cleanliness and quietness, this one had both!! I will choose this location, again, in the near future. The staff treated everyone like a "VIP"!! Also with this pandemic, the staff's main concern guest safety, not profit. They only rent every other room and very aware of guest staying 6 ft apart. I'm sure they lost a lot of money in doing so, but I appreciate them very much.”

“Consider the nature of a fast food restaurant as a transient space. People cycling in and out as quickly as the deep fryer will allow, attempting to consume their food with as much as haste as it was made. No one lingering to talk with the neighbors or greet the crew with more than a "good day." This has been my experience with McDonald's restaurants until dining at this particular location on Duke Street. First, I was taken in by the truly thoughtful customer service of the crew. They greeted me with smiles and were swift to take recourse when they accidentally delayed my order. As if the human connection weren't enough, when I took the time to admire my surroundings, I was amazed by the crisp and clean lines of the building's interior design. It was no wonder that signs were posted asking customers to sit for a maximum of 30 minutes. With an atmosphere like this McDonald's has, who would want to leave? I recommend this location wholeheartedly. On a trip to D.C. to see the White House or the Lincoln Memorial? Make it a point to stop here”
