“I had Handyman in DMV come to my house to fix a deck issue and 2 gutters. They came prompty and completed the project $200 under the estimate, which was a great surprise. Arrived on time and completed the work early. Explained everything, very polite, good quality work. No complaints at all! Will be using them again in the future.”

“The staff at this 7/11 reminded me how good most people are tonight. I was on my way home from work & got a flat tire. I pulled in to this 7/11& went inside just to verify the address & to let them know I’d be in the lot for a bit. John & Dave insisted on helping me, loosened the lugnuts on the tire as I couldn’t get them loose & put on my spare. They insisted they were ‘just doing their job’ but this was far above that. Helped me make it home to my kid instead of getting stuck. It’s hard to express how much I appreciated that help. Great guys - I live nowhere near this store but will try to frequent it as much as I can.”

“Safeway has good safety protocols. All patrons I saw were in masks. Poor inventory of cleaning products, but that seems to still be true everywhere. I need Drano and they were out. I tried Giant and they were out too.”

“I normally give all parks 5 stars but not this time. It is a nice urban green space that is not developed to its potential at all. I know Arlington Parks and Planning and they usually don't skimp or let their spaces fall into such an undefined and unmaintained state. Maybe it is on the books to be renovated. The nice little playground equipment that is there is used by the kids in the area. It should be 4 times as big. You could do Tai Chi or there or have a picnic but it is surrounded by traffic and apartments and restaurants.”

“I highly recommend Grace Community Church! It is especially great for those that may not like going to church. Maybe because of a bad experience in the past? Whatever the reason, this non-denominational Church (Bible based) is non-judgmental and very welcoming! The modern music is also great!”

“All these 1 star reviews are just entitled people mad that the amenities aren't open The ones complaining don't wear masks or wipe down surfaces in the common areas after using them. Maybe that's why the amenities aren't as available as you'd like, because you can't follow the rules Karen Management could be more responsive. Staff, building, and maintenance are all great.”

“I went to Susan because I needed professional help to get back on a healthy diet after my pregnancy and lose a few pounds. Thanks to my appointments with Susan I was able to understand how my body works better and what it needs to be healthy and stay healthy while I lose some weight. I was able to implement all the tools Susan presented and have seen good results already. Most importantly, Susan was very professional, understanding and made me feel comfortable. I would recommend working with her for anybody who wants to/needs to change their diet but are overwhelmed or just don’t know where to start.”

“I had a fantastic first experience with Eagle Cleaners. Mat clearly values his customers and business. Recently started dry cleaning my work clothes and Eagle Cleaners was my first try. Easy to say I will continue to use them to handle my garments. They also repair buttons, cuffs, and collars as part of their service. I highly recommend choosing Eagle Cleaners.”

“Very unassuming from the outside, rich decor greets you as soon as you step in. The atmosphere is very cozy with several armchairs to sit on. The restaurant also features a hookah lounge. The food was delicious and the service excellent. The blended mint lemonade excellent! Very refreshing.”

“As a child, my father was always very interested in Tai Chi so I've been familiar with the practice since grade school. In fact, my father would sometimes walk with us in the mall and stop mid-pace just to bust out a tai chi stance and movement just to embarrass us in the middle of the mall. Regardless of those family antics, I was able to develop as respect for the practice despite it not being an active part of my life. Fast forward to last month. I help to lead diversity and culture initiatives for our employee resource group at work and was brainstorming some fun and interesting ways that we could celebrate Asian Pacific American heritage. I thought tai chi on the rooftop would be interesting, fun and a great way to introduce the exercise to a young audience. I reached out to the email on the website and had the pleasure of connecting with Peter Schwartz. Although, the school does not consistently offer private classes, he was willing to work with me and was within my budget to lead a 1 hour class of tai chi at our office. Although the turn out was less than what I hoped, Peter was warm, knowledgeable, patient and literally went with the flow. Also, prior to arriving he was communicative and arrived on time, despite rush hour and a storm. Overall, I had such a great experience and would definitely encourage anyone to consider tai chi as an exercise that is accessible and inclusive to so many!”
