Best Customer Service in Town. Fair Pricing, Professional service, this is the only dealership that I trust with my boat! I've owned boats for 35 years and have had many mechanics, Tomahund Marine has by far the best service and pricing in town!! Ask for Adam or John. 5 STAR, Period!
Repaired my motor on a holiday week in one day when others were telling me 4 to 5 weeks. Fantastic Service with nice folks!
To all of our loyal customers and future customers; Thank you for your support and business. We strive to do our best and treat customers fairly. Once in a long while, someone will post a bad review. We have been proud of our nearly 5 star rating for many years. In the last instance from Nadira, I would like to give our take on this review. We sold a used boat that was 22 years old. We brokered the boat for a customer for our normal 10% fee. We did our due diligence on checking the boat over, checking compression, and test running the boat for the buyer. We did over $7,000 worth of work for the previous owner over the last year, with receipts, and the boat was in good shape. As you know with any boat, (that is 22 years old) anything can go wrong, and we sell boats as is with no warranty. Comparing buying a used car from someone, and you drive it for 2 months and it breaks. You can not go back to that person for a refund. There is no guaranteed warranty. This boat ran fine when it left the shop and ran fine for the buyer for 2 months. Who knows what happened, and how the boat was used... We can not cover a new engine costing thousands, if our selling commission was minimal (10%) of sale price. I know all dealers operate the same way, and without some type of purchased extended warranty, they will not pay for repairs. So to reply to this persons review, with my honest opinion, we did what anyone else would have done. If this boat was new, our warranty would be in effect, and Mercury would pay for engine warranty, but not after 22 years... Thank you, just my opinion with this one, John Hofmeyer (Business Owner)
They are very easy to deal with. They got the service on my boat done really quick. I have been getting work done there since 2016 and am always satisfied with their work.
Worked with Adam and he's incredibly helpful and willing to make an effort for you. I have only been there for parts but always end up chatting with people in the lobby. People seem to be treated like family here and I look forward to a long relationship with their service...whenever they're able to fit me in. They're quite busy and if the service reflects the attitude of the front shop, iit seems to be worth the wait.
