“I can not say enough about Stephanie, the marketing director. I was in the process of moving back to Virginia when she contacted me. She was concerned about how dire my grandmother’s living situation was. My grandmother was only eating toast and coffee and she was not thriving. Stephanie would, on her own time, take over food for her and insured she was eating properly. She even cleaned out the refrigerator. I was then not only dealing with having to move back to Virginia but now having to care for my grandmother. Stephanie was more than helpful and essential to placing my grandmother into Commonwealth. She came in on a Sunday, her day off, to coordinate the paperwork and getting my grandmother situated that same day. The situation was rather overwhelming for me. She was able to sense this and called the next day to check on me! Thankfully, my grandmother now has all of her medicines regulated, shes eating a balanced diet and is doing extremely well. “Backshore has three great things going for it- the beer, the location, and the music. When I was there in October, the sun was shining, jam bands were coming through the speakers, and the beer was flowing. They are located right on the boards, with a direct view of the sand and ocean. Can't get better than that. Lots of outdoor tables for people watching and sun soaking. My wife isn't a beer fan but they had several mixed drink options to keep her happy. Definitely hit this place on a nice day, especially in the off-season.”
